Comprised of a two-story classroom wing and one-story multipurpose hall, library and administration facilities, this new 40,000 sq. ft. elementary school was designed and built at the request of the Burlington Board of Education.

The steel gable roof trusses over the second floor classrooms housed the mechanical units, which were conveniently hidden between the roof and second floor ceiling.

The second floor framing was constructed with concrete slab and steel joists bearing on reinforced masonry walls.
